A new series of electronic music events focused on experimentation, participation, and community.
What is an EMOM?
EMOM stands for Electronic Music Open Mic.
It’s a format designed for electronic artists to test ideas, perform live, and share work in progress in a supportive environment.
Performers typically play short sets (around 10–15 minutes). These can be:
- Live hardware jams
- Laptop performances
- Modular or synth-based sets
- Audiovisual experiments
- Works in progress or sketches
The emphasis is on trying things out, not perfection.
What to expect
This is not a traditional gig night.
EMOM is:
- Informal and welcoming
- Focused on process as much as outcome
- Open to different styles of electronic music
- A space to meet other artists and share ideas
You can come to:
- Listen and discover new sounds
- See how different setups and approaches work live
- Connect with other people making electronic music in North Devon

We’re actively inviting artists to take part in this event and future EMOM nights.

You don’t need a finished set. You don’t need to be established. If you’re making electronic music and want to try it out live, this is for you.
